Inspiring learning, connection, and community!
The Showcase is a free opportunity for students and educators from around the world to highlight high-quality examples of service-learning projects! This is a space to connect with people and share how a service-learning project was implemented, how it was connected to curricular goals, and what made it effective. To have your project displayed on the Showcase, please submit either a PDF or video that covers your entire service-learning project experience including: the investigation you did into community needs, the planning and preparation you underwent, the action you took to address a community need, and the ways that your experience made you reflect on your community and the individuals you served.

PODER en SALUD
As part of the national PODER en SALUD project, Latino youth held focus groups and surveyed the community, and created COVID-19 prevention messages in English and Spanish last year. This year, they investigated needs and discovered that mental health and drug use were big issues in their county. They created and held an education event on MLK Day that brought together over 150 people to learn about health issues.
