Uniting For Good: A Virtual Gathering of the National Service-Learning Conference®
Minneapolis, MN — February 12, 2026 — In communities across the country and around the world, service-learning continues to demonstrate its power as an approach that strengthens academic learning, builds civic responsibility, and equips young people to address real community needs. At a time when connection, belonging, and democratic engagement are more important than ever, service-learning offers a proven pathway for meaningful, youth-driven change.
On April 22, 2026, the National Youth Leadership Council will host Uniting for Good, a one-day virtual gathering that extends the reach and impact of the National Service-Learning Conference. Designed for educators, youth-serving professionals, community leaders, and young people, this experience ensures access to high-quality learning and connection for those unable to attend the in-person conference.
Participants will engage in interactive sessions that highlight effective service-learning practice, center equity and youth voice, and explore how service-learning can strengthen civic engagement and community partnerships. Sessions will feature practical strategies, research-informed insights, and real-world examples that participants can apply immediately in classrooms, programs, and communities.
Uniting for Good brings together a diverse national and global community committed to advancing service-learning as a tool for educational excellence and social impact. By convening across geography and roles, participants will deepen their understanding of how service-learning empowers young people not only to serve, but to lead with purpose, agency, and impact.
