Extending Support for Statewide Service-Learning in Afterschool Programs
The National Youth Leadership Council is proud to announce the award of two-year grants to four State Afterschool Networks to create successful, replicable, service-learning implementation models. Grantees include: OregonAsk - Oregon PSAYDN - Pennsylvania State Afterschool Youth Development Network TAN - Tennessee Afterschool Network TXPOST - Texas Partnership for Out of School Time NYLC will continue to provide strategic support and coaching, training and technical assistance and will additional resources and tools that will grow service-learning in afterschool programs. Tennessee Expands Service-Learning in Afterschool
By Julie Rogers Bascom, NYLC Director of Learning & Leadership NYLC supports 14 states in the Statewide Afterschool Network with technical support, coaching, grants, trainings, and resources to develop or expand service-learning in afterschool programs in their state.
