nylcstaff2023-06-28T15:14:16-05:00As part of the national PODER en SALUD project, Latino youth held focus groups and surveyed the community, and created COVID-19 prevention messages in English and Spanish last year. This year, they investigated needs and discovered that mental health and drug use were big issues in their county. They created and held an education event on MLK Day that brought together over 150 people to learn about health issues.
