This is the moment to IGNITE your service-learning practice. Born out of years of research and practice, IGNITE is nylc’s newest framework for service-learning, built to help schools and youth organizations move young people from civic knowledge to civic action. In this session, you’ll be among the first to see the framework unveiled in full: what it is, how it works, and why it’s different from what’s come before. nylc staff will walk through each element live, showing exactly how IGNITE translates into real classrooms and real programs, not just theory on a slide. You’ll leave with an early look at the tools and resources behind the framework, plus a clear sense of how to bring IGNITE to your own program or classroom.
