Environmental justice challenges young people to address climate needs on a local level, impacting our planet now and for future generations.

Fulfilling our mission to create sustainability, youth teams working on Environmental Justice improve critical climate needs. Whether planting a community garden, mapping safe bike routes, or securing solar panels to light a community sign, there are many local entry points for impassioned young people to create lasting change through service-learning. Connect to learning goals such as STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) or personal development goals such as leadership or civic engagement, these experiences provide a powerful learning opportunity.
The application period for the 2024-25 school year is now open.

“This program has provided a platform for young people like me to voice our ideas, take action on issues that matter to us, and make a positive impact in our communities. The opportunity to collaborate, learn from each other, and build networks of support has been a source of encouragement and motivation throughout the journey.”
