Education equity is the belief that everyone deserves a quality education, regardless of their race, gender, identity, socioeconomic status, or any other trait.

Education in Action engages K-12 educators (in school and afterschool programs) along with their students to improve education equity in their community. Educators utilize service-learning as the strategy to guide their youth-led teams through creating positive change – students embark on an investigation to uncover community needs and move through the IPARD process, ending in demonstration, where they share what they’ve learned and solidify their understanding.
The application period for the 2022-23 school year is closed. Please check back in the fall!

Congratulations to the 2022-23 Education in Action teams!
